1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and FLAREFLOW PTE. LTD. regarding your access to and use of FlareFlick, including its mobile applications, websites, content, features, advertisements and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
FlareFlick is currently a pure IAA short drama application, meaning that the Service is primarily supported by advertising and does not currently provide in-app purchases, paid subscriptions, top-ups or paid membership services.
2. Eligibility and Age Requirements
You may use FlareFlick only if you meet the minimum age required by your local laws, applicable app store age rating and platform rules.
If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction but permitted to use the Service, you must have permission from your parent or legal guardian, and your parent or legal guardian is responsible for your use of the Service.
You may not use the Service if you are prohibited from doing so under applicable laws, sanctions, export controls, app store rules or these Terms.
3. Accounts and Security
Some features may require account registration or third-party login. You agree to provide accurate, complete and current information.
Your account is personal to you. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account.
You must promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. We may suspend, restrict or terminate accounts for security, legal, operational or policy reasons.
You may request account deletion through in-app settings where available or by contacting support@flareflick.com. Account deletion may cause loss of access to content history, collections, comments and other account-related records.
4. Service Features
FlareFlick may provide short drama playback, search, personalized recommendations, collection/following, watch history, likes, comments, sharing, push notifications, advertisements, rewarded advertisements, third-party login and offline caching. The availability of each feature may vary by region, device, version, account status, network environment, app store requirements and operational strategy.
5. Advertising-Supported Service and No User Payment
FlareFlick is currently supported by advertisements. You may see splash ads, interstitial ads, rewarded ads, native ads, banner ads, video ads or other ad formats.
Some content or features may be unlocked by watching eligible advertisements, but ad availability, reward confirmation, unlocking rules and content availability may vary and are not guaranteed.
Because FlareFlick currently does not provide in-app purchases, subscriptions, top-ups, paid coins or paid memberships, no refund mechanism applies to user payments. If payment features are introduced in the future, separate payment terms and app store rules will apply.
We may change the ad load, ad format, reward rules, unlocking methods or free access scope from time to time, subject to applicable laws and platform requirements.
6. User-Generated Content and Community Rules
You retain rights in content you submit, but you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, display, distribute, promote, translate, moderate and otherwise use your UGC to operate, improve, promote and protect the Service.
You represent that you have all rights and permissions necessary to submit your UGC and that your UGC does not violate any law, third-party right or these Terms.
You may not submit UGC that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, hateful, discriminatory, threatening, harassing, violent, fraudulent, misleading, spam, malware-related, harmful to minors, or otherwise inappropriate.
We may review, remove, hide, restrict, label, report or preserve UGC, and may suspend or terminate accounts, if we believe the UGC or account activity violates these Terms, applicable laws, third-party rights or community standards.
Public UGC may be visible, copied, quoted, cached or shared by other users. We cannot guarantee complete removal from all locations after deletion.
7. Prohibited Conduct
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, abusive or unauthorized purposes.
- Interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, crawl, overload, modify or circumvent the Service, its security features, ad verification systems, recommendation systems or access controls.
- Use bots, scripts, emulators, automated tools, click farms, device farms or other improper methods to manipulate views, likes, comments, ad rewards, unlocks, recommendations or statistics.
- Upload, post or share content that violates intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, contract rights or other rights of any person.
- Collect personal information from other users without authorization.
- Misrepresent identity, impersonate others, create bulk accounts, evade bans, or use the Service after suspension or termination.
- Exploit minors, endanger minors, or upload or share child sexual abuse material or related content.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including software, interface, algorithms, trademarks, logos, trade names, graphics, text, videos, audio, images, scripts, data, recommendations and other materials, is owned by or licensed to FLAREFLOW PTE. LTD. or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, sell, lease, reverse engineer or create derivative works from the Service or its content.
9. Copyright and Infringement Notices
If you believe that content available on FlareFlick infringes your rights, please send a notice to support@flareflick.com with sufficient information to identify the work, the allegedly infringing material, your contact information, a statement of good-faith belief, and evidence of your rights or authorization. For U.S. copyright notices, you may submit a DMCA notice with the information required under applicable law. We may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing content and terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.
10. Third-Party Services and Advertisements
The Service may include third-party advertisements, SDKs, links, content, login tools, sharing tools, analytics, security, cloud services and other third-party services.
We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, privacy practices, products, claims, offers or transactions.
Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. You should review them carefully.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information. By using the Service, you acknowledge that we may process personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes, Suspension and Termination
We may modify, suspend, restrict or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time for operational, legal, security, content, licensing or business reasons.
We may suspend, restrict or terminate your account or access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, applicable law, third-party rights or community rules, or if necessary to protect the Service, users or rights holders.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will end. Sections that by their nature should survive will survive, including intellectual property, UGC license, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and dispute resolution.
13. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Service, content, advertisements, recommendations, rewards, unlocking, offline caching or user interactions will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, complete, suitable for your expectations or always available. We do not guarantee that any short drama, episode, creator, category or advertisement will remain available or unchanged.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FLAREFLOW PTE. LTD., its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, licensors and service providers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, device damage or unauthorized access arising from or related to the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FLAREFLOW PTE. LTD. and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, licensors and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses arising from your UGC, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms or applicable law, or your infringement of third-party rights.
16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise. The parties will first attempt to resolve disputes through friendly consultation. If a dispute cannot be resolved, it may be submitted to the competent courts or dispute resolution body as permitted by applicable law.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will indicate the effective date and provide notice where required. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect means that you accept the updated Terms.
