Introduction

Welcome to FlareFlick, a short drama application and related websites, software, features, content, advertising and online services operated by FLAREFLOW PTE. LTD. ("FlareFlick", "we", "us" or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, transfer and protect personal information when you use FlareFlick.

FlareFlick is a pure IAA (in-app advertising) service. We do not currently provide paid subscriptions, top-ups, in-app purchases or user payment services. If we introduce paid features in the future, we will provide additional terms and disclosures before such features are used.

By accessing or using FlareFlick, you confirm that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please stop using the Service.

1. Scope and Definitions

"Service" means FlareFlick and its short drama playback, search, recommendation, collection, following, watch history, like, comment, share, notification, advertising, rewarded advertising, offline caching and third-party login features.

"Personal Information" means information that identifies, relates to, describes, can reasonably be associated with, or could reasonably be linked to an identified or identifiable person, as defined by applicable law.

"User-Generated Content" or "UGC" means content you create, submit, upload, post or share through FlareFlick, including comments, nicknames, avatars, likes, interaction records, feedback and other materials.

"Advertising Partners" means third-party advertising networks, mediation platforms, attribution providers, analytics providers and measurement partners that help us show, measure and improve advertisements.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

Account and profile information, such as nickname, avatar, user ID, email address, phone number where applicable, password or authentication token, language preference and account settings.

UGC and interaction information, such as comments, likes, reports, feedback, customer service communications, content submitted by you, and related metadata.

Contact and support information, including information you provide when you contact us at support@flareflick.com, submit bug reports, request account deletion, participate in surveys or provide feedback.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

Device and app information, including device model, manufacturer, operating system, app version, package name, device settings, language, country/region, screen information, network type, carrier, crash logs and diagnostic data.

Identifiers and advertising information, including IP address, cookie or similar technology identifiers, device identifiers, Google Advertising ID (GAID), Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA), IDFV, App Set ID, SKAdNetwork or similar attribution identifiers where applicable.

Usage and log information, including login status, search queries, viewing history, page views, playback progress, duration, click records, refresh records, favorites, follows, likes, comments, shares, push open records, ad impressions, ad clicks, ad completion, rewarded-ad status and anti-fraud signals.

Approximate location inferred from IP address, device settings, app store region, language settings or your consented location permissions where applicable. We do not collect precise GPS location unless we expressly request and obtain permission for a specific feature.

Offline caching information, including cached content identifiers, download/caching status, storage usage and cache management logs where the feature is enabled.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

Third-party login information from platforms such as Apple, Google, Facebook or other sign-in providers, subject to your permission and the provider’s policies.

Advertising, analytics and attribution information from Advertising Partners, including ad performance, campaign source, install attribution, fraud prevention signals and consent status.

Information from app stores, operating systems, anti-abuse vendors, cloud service providers, customer support providers and other service providers that help us operate the Service.

3. How We Use Information

Provide and maintain the Service, including account registration/login, short drama playback, search, collection/following, watch history, likes, comments, sharing, push notifications, personalized recommendation, offline caching and customer support.

Display and measure advertisements, including personalized or contextual ads, ad frequency control, ad mediation, rewarded-ad delivery, ad fraud prevention, campaign attribution, performance measurement and advertising settlement with partners.

Provide rewarded advertising and virtual benefits, such as unlocking access to certain content after completing an eligible ad view, recording benefit status, preventing repeated claims, and resolving failed benefit claims.

Personalize your experience, including recommending short dramas, episodes, categories, creators, advertisements and interface language based on your viewing behavior, preferences, device information and consent choices.

Ensure safety, security and compliance, including detecting abnormal accounts, automated behavior, cheating, scraping, unauthorized access, malicious activity, illegal content, content that harms minors, infringement and violations of our Terms.

Moderate UGC and enforce community rules, including reviewing, hiding, deleting or restricting comments and accounts, handling reports and infringement notices, and cooperating with authorities where required by law.

Communicate with you, including service notices, security alerts, updates, policy changes, push notifications, customer service replies and non-marketing operational messages.

Improve and develop the Service, including analytics, debugging, product research, algorithm improvement, quality assurance, performance optimization and creation of aggregated or anonymized statistics.

Comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, government requests, app store requirements and industry standards.

4. Advertising, Tracking Technologies and Consent Choices

FlareFlick is supported by advertising. We and Advertising Partners may use cookies, SDKs, pixels, mobile advertising identifiers and similar technologies to deliver, personalize, measure and improve advertisements, subject to applicable law and your consent choices.

Personalized advertising may use information such as ad identifiers, app usage, device information, approximate location, language, interaction records and consent status. You may be able to limit ad tracking through your device settings, privacy settings, consent management tools or the options provided by relevant advertising partners.

Contextual advertising may be shown based on non-personal or less personalized signals such as app content category, device language, region, general location, app version or current screen context.

Rewarded advertising may require confirmation that an ad was viewed or completed. If a network outage, ad provider error, cheating, device limitation or abnormal behavior prevents verification, the reward or unlock may fail or be delayed.

We may not control every advertisement served by third-party networks. If you believe an advertisement is inappropriate, misleading or violates applicable rules, contact us at support@flareflick.com with screenshots and details.

5. User-Generated Content and Public Interaction

Comments, likes, avatars, nicknames, reports and similar interaction records may be visible to other users depending on the feature design and your settings.

You are responsible for the UGC you submit. Please do not include sensitive personal information, private information of others, illegal content, infringing content, defamatory content, harassment, hate speech, violent content, obscene content, child sexual abuse material, or content that endangers minors.

We may review, remove, restrict, report or retain UGC where necessary to operate the Service, enforce our rules, comply with law, protect rights or respond to complaints. Deleted content may remain in backups, logs, caches, quoted content or other users’ copies for a limited period or where legally required.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information for money. However, under some privacy laws, sharing identifiers or usage information with advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered a "sale" or "sharing". We provide opt-out choices where required by law.

Service providers, such as cloud hosting, content delivery, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, security, anti-fraud, content moderation and email service providers.

Advertising Partners, such as ad networks, ad exchanges, mediation platforms, measurement partners and attribution providers, to show and measure ads and detect fraud.

Third-party login and social platforms, if you choose to sign in, share content, connect accounts or use related features.

Rights holders, law enforcement, regulators, courts or other parties where reasonably necessary to protect rights, comply with law, respond to legal requests, prevent harm, or enforce our Terms.

Affiliates, successors or business transaction parties in connection with merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, asset transfer or similar corporate transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.

7. International Data Transfers

FlareFlick is operated from Singapore and is intended for users in multiple regions. Your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in Singapore and other countries or regions where we, our affiliates, service providers or Advertising Partners operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections, standard contractual clauses, data processing agreements, transfer impact assessments, consent mechanisms or other lawful transfer bases.

8. Retention and Deletion

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, maintain accounts, provide advertising and rewarded-ad records, protect security, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations and enforce agreements.

UGC, support records, safety logs, ad delivery records and anti-fraud records may be retained for longer where reasonably necessary for legal, security, audit, dispute, business or compliance purposes.

You may request account deletion or deletion of personal information by contacting support@flareflick.com. We may retain certain information where required or permitted by law, including records needed to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, comply with law or protect legal rights.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, port, or withdraw consent for certain processing of your personal information. You may also have the right to opt out of targeted advertising, sale or sharing of personal information, and certain profiling. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights, subject to applicable law.

General requests: contact support@flareflick.com and describe your request. We may verify your identity before processing the request.

EU/EEA/UK users: you may have GDPR/UK GDPR rights, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent and complaint to a supervisory authority.

California users: you may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the rights to know/access, delete, correct, opt out of sale/share, limit use and disclosure of sensitive personal information where applicable, and non-discrimination.

Singapore users: you may have rights under the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act, including access, correction, withdrawal of consent and related rights, subject to applicable exceptions.

Advertising choices: you may use device settings such as "Limit Ad Tracking", "Reset Advertising ID", "App Tracking Transparency" controls, Android ad privacy settings, consent banners, or in-app privacy settings where available.

10. Children and Age Requirements

FlareFlick is intended for users who meet the minimum age required by applicable laws, local app-store age ratings and platform rules. If you are under the applicable age of majority, you may use the Service only where permitted by local law and with parental or legal guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children where prohibited by law. If you believe a child has provided personal information without required consent, please contact us at support@flareflick.com.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical, administrative and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration and disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Third-Party Services

FlareFlick may contain links, advertisements, SDKs, login tools, sharing features or content provided by third parties. Their collection and use of information are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content or security of third parties that we do not control.

13. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate the latest effective date and, where required by law, provide additional notice or obtain consent for material changes. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Policy takes effect means you acknowledge the updated Policy.
